Minecraft.

Minecraft is a game made in 2009 by a man known as “Notch.” His real name is Markus Persson. He made In November 2014, he left Mojang after its acquisition by Microsoft for $2.5 billion. Minecraft now has 112 million active players every month, a surge of 20 million over figures from October 2018, there are always new updates. For pc players they are in 1.15 version while mobile players are in 1.13, nobody really knows why the mobile players are down a few versions. The game allows players to build with a variety of different blocks in a 3D procedurally generated world, requiring creativity from players. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering, crafting, and combat. Multiple game modes that change gameplay are available, including—but not limited to—a survival mode, in which players must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, and a creative mode, where players have unlimited resources to build with. Minecraft is a 3D sandbox game that has no specific goals to accomplish, allowing players a large amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game. However, there is an achievement system Gameplay is in the first-person perspective by default, but players have the option for third-person perspective. The game world is composed of rough 3D objects—mainly cubes and fluids, and commonly called "blocks"—representing various materials, such as dirt, stone, ores, tree trunks, water, and lava. The core gameplay revolves around picking up and placing these objects. These blocks are arranged in a 3D grid, while players can move freely around the world. Players can "mine" blocks and then place them elsewhere, enabling them to build things.

Walt: Write an explanation about sand dunes.

If you are a God/Goddess and want to make some sand dunes you will need:

- Wind
- Beach/Sand
- Grass
- Water/Waves

The wind should push all the sand up into a big lump, then the waves will snatch some of the dune and push it back/flattening it. That will be excess sand which is also the beach, soon this cycle will repeat and the sand dune will get bigger, then some grass will grow which will stop most of the waves and holds the sand together. After a few thousand years life will start to come. Lets go see what life will come:

-Skank
-Some spideys
-Beetles (Not the band)

They need the sand dunes to live, they can also be quite shy so if you see one of these creatures in the sand dunes then you are quite lucky! Oh, whats this? Another creature. It's a bird thats' loud, annoying and poops on people, lets call it a seagull. That is how you create a nice lovely beach.

My cheesy love story

A kiss is just a kiss
Before you click onto the link here is some information.
 I'm not into love story's, I mostly like writing horror and gore or funny stories I mostly use similes but I have been struggling to use them so that kinda put me out of writing for awhile. Sooner or later my dear friend Grace started writing a love story and I don't know why but that made me interested, I then had the idea. "Why don't I write my own love story?" So I looked online for book names and found the name "A kiss is just a kiss." So I used that. A little thing about me is that I don't plan the story in a book, I just plan as I go so I get if it's weird or anything about that. A few lines in the story are from Paul Jennings books. I soon made a few chapters and shared it with my teacher, he was supportive and that kept me going. Soon my friends found out I was writing a cheesy love story and they were interested so I shared my story with them. They were also very supportive and they loved it, I was very pleased so I wrote more and more daily, I have now written 10 chapters soon writing more. I still need to work on a few other stuff like putting my writing in paragraphs instead of a big bunch but for now I am still just writing some chapters weekly. Hopefully you enjoy my story and if you have any feedback or questions leave it in the comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. <(^-^)/

It said every 2 minutes she would walk 100 meters, so I went 100 = 2 minutes, 200 = 4 minutes, 300 = 6 minutes. You get the idea, so once I reached up to 800 meters I had counted 16 minutes. Then  I looked again and saw 50 meters so half of a minute is 30. So I put together 16 minutes and 30 seconds. Hope you learned something and have a good night or day!

Trip to Rarotonga xx

On friday me and Georgia went to Rarotonga beach, we stayed there for 3 hours and watched the sunset go down as we ate fish and chips. We went home and got changed, hope we can do it again! xxx

Hello and welcome to Cybersmart: The game.

This google drawing is an activity/game, the base of the game is snakes and ladders but it is different. There are no ladders but there are snakes which are actually cords, you go to this dice website Dice website and you roll the dice. Whatever number you land on is going to be the activity you are going to be doing.

TCSLP - Tea Cup Solar Life Protector

Walt: Make a robot that can help life.

So I made a robot drawing, you may be wondering. "Why has she got a tea cup?" Well where I got that idea from was from one of my favourite songs. The cuphead rap, it is a video game. Okay back onto the robot. The wheels on the bottom is so it can move around, it can also create a web made out of used plastic it finds, it creates the web on the tyres when it goes onto water. So then it can float on water, the robot itself is water proof. The red straw is a solar panel, the robot can still move but it will go slower. The tea cup is for when it rains the tea cup will catch the raindrops so you have a free drink after it rains. This tea cup has a charger, if you put the 5th wheel on it will charge, it takes 15 minutes to fully charge. 

If you made a robot that would change the world, would you share it with the world and take no credit for building it or don't share it and take all the credit?

Skilled Swimming

The classic Room 3 spent 2 weeks learning how to be skilled at swimming, like going faster in the water and having more technique. We shove and push onto the bus then quieten down. The trip is short because QEII is right next door.

 We arrive at the pool and sit onto the seats next to the deep pool. It was so hot and stuffy but it was surprising that the deep pool was so cold, it had felt like a large ice cube melted into liquid. We hop in and shiver, we start off with freestyle which is my favourite because i'm really quick at it and it's fun.

 Swimming is fun but i´m slow on breast stroke and one of the other students kept on bumping into me. It's also kind of annoying because sometimes I don't want to go first for swimming but since i´m first on the role I have too. We always learn about being in deep waters and how to survive.

Swimming is a great thing that you should learn because it can be fun and it will save your life. At the end of the swimming lessons we might have a chance of having a game, it might be floating mushrooms or how far can you go without holding your breath. It is fun because I get to compete with other people!

 We also learnt how to survive a burning boat or saving someone, If you are on a burning boat you cross one arm over your chess and hold your nose, sit closer to the edge so you don't do a big flip. Then fall backwards into the water. There should be an air pocket under the boat which you can get air from, tilt the boat up enough for you to put your head under.

Then go under the boat where the air pocket should be, take a few deep breaths and control your breathing. An average person can breath up to 3-4 cubes of air. Once your done go feet first and push yourself from underneath the boat to the surface.

Be careful not to be too close to the boat because its burning. Thank you for reading and hope you learnt something. Have fun swimming!

I love interland so much, I recommend it to you. It is so much fun and my favourite island is kind kingdom, it´s about giving love and support to others and reporting the bullies. It is challenging but I like it. There are 4 islands,
1. Reality river, reality river is where you see whats good and bad. Who is fake and who is real, and what you should do if something is happening on your account.
2.Mindful mountain, mindful mountain is where you try and send stuff to your friends/parents/public. Without getting it wrong, you shine the light onto the mirror which should reach your destination.
3. Kind kingdom, kind kingdom is where you spread love to others while going up to the very top. You will pass bullies and you need to grab a speaker phone and report them. They will disappear and you keep going on your way.
4. Tower of treasure, tower of treasure is when you do a race and try and get all of your messages and private information before the hackers get to it, once you have it all you go to your kingdom and place all your secrets there, but the hackers start to destroy you kingdom and get your secrets. You have to repair the kingdom by making strong passwords that should be 8 letters long and random symbols. But you have to remember them.

So If a factory makes a fidget spinner which has 3 black rings, how many can they make out of 12?
So normally I would like to skip count in threes, but if you don't know how to skip count in threes thats okay. So I would go 3, 6, 9, 12. If you want you can use your fingers, you can also do the slow way if your a starter which is, 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1. But any type of way that you figure it out that is great! Today is friday and also duffy! A good person Stella came all the way to our school to tell us all about the nature and whats happening in the forest, sadly there are 40 kiwis being killed each day because of predators. There was a beautiful bird that made a gorgeous sound but sadly they are now extinct because of all the ferrets, rats, possums and other! But fortunately there are people who are trying to stop the extinction, at the end of assembly we all went into class and got handed our duffy books. I got minecraft because I really love playing it and also LIARS because it is about a boy who created an app that detects lies! I really love reading and once I read an interesting story I can't put it down! Thank you so much Stella for telling me all about whats happening, you are a duffy role model! :)

Friday? More like funday!

Today the class got the reward of bringing technology, blankets and a toy. After morning tea the class built so many huts around the class. Me and Georgia built a hut out of the white board and used Georgia's pink blanket as the roof.

It was a raining day so we stayed inside, I really hope we can do this again. I really wanted wifi so I tried doing a password that I thought might work but sadly no. Thank you for reading. If you got a reward what do you want it to be?

My word study of the week

This week we done word study, on slide 6 I put really funny images. This took me 1 day to finish, I finished my work by checking my spelling with  friend.

Today we learnt about just.
Just means being equal and fair about things etc (Letting a person play in a game.) I found a cool photo of a balance, I used this photo because this is related to the virtue that we have learnt this week. We watched a video about having human rights and why we should have it, I think that having human rights was a good choice to make. Do you think we should or shouldn't have human rights, give your reason why we should/shouldn't?

Walt: Make your own version of the 3 little pigs with a twist!

The wolf sees 3 little pigs having a picnic in the woods, so he goes over to eat them. But to make sure no one is watching he scans the place, no one is nearby so he sneaks up on the 3 little pigs in the long grass.

He leaps on the little pig and bites him in the middle, swallows him. Then he goes after the second pig and bites him on the bum, the 2nd pig splits in half and dies. 

‘’Yum yum pigs bum!’’ The wolf says as he swallows the body. 

Then he notices the 3rd pig ran off so he climbs a tree to looks for the pig. The wolf spots the pig and sees the pig has a chainsaw, the wolf jumps and falls onto the chainsaw cutting the wolf in the middle of his chest.

The 1 pig climbed out of his body and thanked the 3rd pig, but then 2 people climbed out. The first person was a very old lady and the second was a little girl with a red hood. They both thanked the three pigs and ran off.

The 3rd pig dragged the wolf's body and threw it into a pond never to be seen again.

I strutted over to my least favourite neighbour, Jarold the pig. I looked at his ugly house in disgust, his house had Thick fat sticks as large as his ego, and little thin twigs about the size of his stubby little legs. The house was out of shape like he was, I HATED him and his weird house.

A wolfs life style

Trip to the old museum

On Tuesday at school we were going to go on a trip to the museum and do a scavenger hunt. We took a bendy bus, not the bendy bus. Tahliah was my bus buddy and we were playing like a war game on the way there. When we got there we were put into groups and ate morning tea. After we all ate morning tea we set off in the scavenger hunt inside the museum. My group didn't try and find all of them, we were just playing around and exploring, our parent helper was cool with that. I had a funny moment when we were in the h2o section and I went inside an open doorway thing? I wasn't expecting anything to happen, but then suddenly a really loud wind started to play and wind from the top blew air. I was in such a panic I tripped on the way out and landed on my knees panting, a few moments later I started laughing because that was so unexpected. We carried on and we barley found anything apart from a few things. We went outside to meet the others for lunch, I ate quickly so I could climb the trees. I finished my lunch and raced to the trees and played tag, when I got off the tree and started to walk around, I saw Shepherd with a bleeding tissue in his hand. I asked Trin what happened and she said that Shep had ran into a tree! I just chuckled slightly and went off. We all got called back into the museum to have a tour, we went into the sea animal section which was new! The man told us to take a piece a piece of paper and pick an animal to write their adaptations, I picked an Arctic fox and tried to draw one but…. It looked like a furry alien bear. We finished and packed up, we said goodbye and left. Honestly? It was fun, I recommend you go there, if you have got any questions about the trip just ask.

We get to wear whatever we want to school! 😁

Today was a really great day since
we were using teamwork and we were
passing to each other. It was a mission
because the other team worked hard

2. In the second game there was a yr 6 boy who was more experienced than us and it was hard but we still worked hard and done well.
3. I am looking forward to a new team to compete with and have a lot of fun.
4. I need to work on passing and stay focused. I Am really happy that I get such a great team to work with.👍
